How do I lodge my Connfair event page on my Facebook?

Facebook has integrated a "buy tickets" button for events. With this button you can make your official Connfair event page accessible to your Facebook visitors with just one click.


1. To create an event on your Facebook company page, click on "Events".

2. Enter the data of an event already created via Connfair admin tool. Copy the link to the Connfair event page from the browser and paste it into the field "Ticket URL".

3. Publish the event on Facebook.

4. Now the event will be displayed on your Facebook page with a "buy tickets" button.

Can any number of ticket categories be offered?

With Connfair you can create any number of ticket categories for an event in each package, which may vary in name or price, for example.

Furthermore, for each ticket category you can individually determine the maximum number of tickets, the respective sales period and the maximum order quantity per booking.

Can I sell the tickets offline as well?

You as the organizer can sell the tickets for your event both online and offline.

For offline sales (e.g. at the cash register) you do not need expensive devices, but simply a PC / notebook.

How do I create an QR code for my print media?

We recommend the provider QRcode-monkey.de for fast and free creation of a QR code.


1. Simply copy the link of your Connfair event page from your browser and paste it into the field "Your URL" at QRcode-monkey.de.


2. By clicking on "Create QR Code" your QR Code is automatically generated and available for download.


3. If this code is printed on a flyer, poster or in a programme booklet and scanned by customers with their smartphones, your official Connfair event page will appear immediately.

How do event visitors receive their tickets?

Tickets are automatically generated in PDF format after receipt of payment and contain a QR code which can be scanned at the entrance control.

The buyer receives the ticket automatically by e-mail and can either print it out or open it on the smartphone.

Are event participants entitled to return their tickets?

The provisions of the Distance Selling Act are not applicable to ticket purchases in accordance with Section 312b (3) No. 6 BGB. There is no right of revocation and return. Every ticket purchase is binding and requires acceptance and payment (Amtsgericht München, 10.09.2007, file number 182 C 26144/05).

It is solely up to you as the organiser whether in exceptional cases a rebooking or a return can be granted.

How does the control of the tickets work?

Your admission personnel have one or more Android smartphones with pre-installed Connfair App.

Tickets (printed out or directly on the mobile phone) of the event participants are simply scanned with the camera of the smartphone.

A green indication that admission has been granted or a red indication that admission has been denied appears. After the scan the ticket is validated and a guest with a copied ticket (the same QR code) is denied entry.

Do I need expensive equipment for the entrance?

I would like to point out to participants that photographers will be taking pictures during the event

Include the following or similar text with your event description:

"The event will be accompanied by photographers. With your registration you expressly agree to your picture being shown, otherwise we ask you to indicate this in the comment field."

Do I have to sign an AV contract to use the Connfair ticketing solution?

Order processing (AV) contracts are not normally required, as Connfair does not normally act as an order data processor of the organizer.

According to the DSGVO, Connfair is the responsible party and event participants give Connfair the order to process their data during the ticket purchase. Connfair in turn transmits the data to the event organizer. An AV contract with Connfair would only be necessary if you as the event organizer import your own customer data into our system which are then processed by us according to your instructions.
